No covid status checks for us either. Surely in the time it took to check my small bag they could have asked for our proof, or even just my husband’s. I have feeling though that mandatory checks don’t come in until later next week. Don’t think it will make much difference though.

Yeah I think you’re right there on the mandatory check but I’m afraid many people walked in without masks on.Sawdust wrote: ↑Sat Dec 11, 2021 7:53 pmNo covid status checks for us either. Here is an idea, get a simple terms of entry graphic up on the jumbotron, regularly throughout the night!
Also a benifits of wearing a mask graphics could be used regularly especially in period breaks, there are plenty available.

If you have genuine concerns over how the Arena staff are dealing with the current Covid regulations then I strongly recommend an email to Arena management, this is not a Steelers issue although they can assist with announcements etc. A flood of emails into the Arena office will raise a response I am sure.

From Wednesday, the a 'Covid pass' will be required for visitors to nightclubs, indoor unseated venues with more than 500 people, outdoor unseated venues with more than 4,000 people and any event with more than 10,000 people.
Face masks will be required in more public settings - including sports stadiums, theatres and cinemas

How do I get a pass?
You can get a Covid pass for domestic use via the NHS Covid app if you're 18 or over, registered with a GP, and meet any of the following conditions:
it's been two weeks since your second vaccination (or single Jansen dose)
you've had a negative PCR or lateral flow test (LFT) result in the past 48 hours, and reported it on the NHS website
you are exempt on the basis of a medical exemption or clinical trial participation
But fans can also attend events in England if they have an alternative way of showing a negative LFT or PCR test, like a text or an email from the NHS.
