As i recall Sheffield had to win this game to win the league title, and Nottingham were just as intent on not letting us win it in their rink.
Things got off to a bad start with the Steelers going one down in the first period and things didn't look too good for us. We managed to get one back but that wouldn't have given us the title.
There was a huge Steelers following at Nottingham and we only managed to get seats in Block 19 but we were amongst our own fans, as we had taken up 18 and 19 as well as blocks 1, 2 and 3.
Anyways, with the clock ticking down and the title slipping away to Belfast up stepped Chris Szysky to score the all important goal.
The roof literally came off the building and complete strangers were jumping up and down hugging each other. The memories of this have always stayed with me.
