It was coming!
On top throughout the 3rd period & Connolly drew a penalty with a few seconds remaining. OT was 4/3 for almost first 2 minutes & we kept possession. Don’t think Flames threatened once in overtime.
Excellent road win.

My gosh, that was left late.
Sounds like both goalies must have put on a bit of a clinic. Not often do you get a hockey game ending scoreless after 60 minutes play.
But we found the way to win, and it's another welcomed 2 road points.

Cracking road win.
I'm starting to seriously believe in this team now!
I just hope when the squad is back to full strength that we maintain the same performance levels and concentration as we've shown this past weekend.

Awesome result and good to see us win a tight game (obviously we all love 6 goal margins
but we won't be dominating like that constantly)
Pleased for Rok to follow up Barry's strong performance Saturday - looks like the the battle for the 'hot goalie' is really heating up
Hopefully Vallerand is ok
he's been excellent again this season, and we definitely can't afford any more injuries as a team.

If you want to win a championship then these are the games you have to win, the away game in a small rink with half the team injured or absent, not as glorious as the 7-0 against a title rival in front of a full house but these games, the scruffy hanging on by your fingernails scraped a win in the last minute games. Well done Steelers.
Same for me. The one I watched was in the MEN arena against the (original) Storm. Dobson made an unbelievable save that night for us.
As for this game, the team deserve all the praise and plaudits for an unbelievable effort over these last 8 or so games. It's great to win in OT as well.
Fox has instilled and completely understands the classic Steelers work ethic.

Remember the awesome 0-0 v Cardiff Devils at the arena,2000/01 season at a guess (i maybe a year or 2 out) it had Allison, Beraldo, Sebastion, Short, Vial, Brebant, McCosh and Metcalfe all on one team..smbmetal wrote: ↑Mon Nov 08, 2021 1:01 pmSame for me. Its one of the best games I ever watched for intensity, skill, fights shots on goal, it had everything apart from goals, no penalty shots or even extra time back then, ended 0-0 everyone went home pumped..

I do remember an outstanding 0 - 0 game at the arena, which I'm guessing is the same one, although it wouldn't be my number one choice.
I think my best ever would be the New Year's Eve game against Manchester.....that had a bit of everything.....including snow.
Great effort by the team this weekend, they've shown real character these last few weeks.
Hopefully a full week of rest will allow them to recharge the batteries and rest those niggles.
Regards
Doom
