I can fully understand those with reservations about attending games in potentially packed rinks, however CoVid is not about to go away, so for some, us included, streaming may be the answer. Should Tony decide either not to stream, or to hike the price then that will be the end of watching Steeler hockey, but I do hope it won't come to that.

In the top 30 causes of death in the UK during last month, CoVid was 26th with 344 deaths whereas flu & pneumonia was 7th with 1045 victims. Simply we have to find a way to live with this awful disease.

I agree and I with CF and many other vulnerable people with life threatening respiratory conditions have to live with and be ultra cautious regarding Pneumonia and Flu already... It doesn't make it easier, thats for sure...

It will be interesting if the NHS Covid App and/or Test and Trace gets busy pinging everyone to isolate for 10 days after the first of these events, Fans forum, Shirt launch, first game etc.. Who is going to go to games then and how will the club react to customers being told officially to stay away... :Gob:

For us me being retired and have asthma, my son having worked from home for the last 18 months, to start going out back into the big world will take gradual steps until you become comfortable again this anxiety being caused because of following the governments guidelines, some people are less worried because they have been going to work meeting people during this time so are more used to being back out there. So for me the Steelers tv would be most helpful until such time as you accept the new normal.
Come September if the rates are low we may have a different attitude towards being in an enclosed arena, but we can only judge that when we get there.

Does anyone have information on our delayed season tickets.
? Our money has been with steelers for all this time, which I have no problem with, but surely common courtesy demands steelers tell us what is happening about our seats and tickets.

The only info I've seen is what came out of the fan forum:

Question about Covid certification.

Dom confirms that the current plan is to check Covid certification (double jabbed) or production of a negative covid test.

This will be checked by security! on entry and concourse will be open earlier to help.

From my point of view - I've just got a letter confirming my double jab status, which I would assume would suffice.

I did notice from watching the Cardiff game in Cardiff the majority of the crowd were wearing masks during the game.

I think it’s Crazy the double jabbed don’t have to do a test beforehand, even though they can still have and pass on covid, with it being an indoor sport and your sat a few inches from the person sat next to you. Think I’d rather be sat next to someone who’s not had their jabs but has had a negative test before the game. Masks are ok but how are you supposed to drink the arenas weak beer through them haha.

The Govt Spokesperson today seemed to say that the Double Jabbed Only rule would be being brought in.

Scotland also said they were bringing the rule in although the wording seems to say seated events under 10k people would not be under the rule.

I've asked the question regarding admission guys.

I've been double jabbed and I still caught Covid at the end of July, I self isolated for the 10 days and for 10 days afterwards as I wanted to be as safe as possible as my job sees me out on the road quite a bit.

I've been advised by the NHS that for at least 90 days post Covid, I will still test positive no matter what test I have.

I've bought my tickets but would rather be safe than sorry for others.

I've asked the club for clarity so will let you all know once I get an answer.
