In spite of the commentator thinking our forwards were “ incredible, “ I think we were workmanlike and clearly better than Manchester tonight. You can only beat what is put in front of you and the steelers looked much fitter this week.
It worries me that Manchester looked quite weak and they ( and the league ) cannot afford for them to go to their big well attended arena and lose every week.
Tomorrow will tell us more.

I'm just having a look at the gamesheet for last night and from what i can work out:
Shots on goal were 41 to 24 in our favour, split 15:9, 10:10 and 16:5.
Unfortunately no faceoff stats, but the +/- appear to be:
Balmas +2
Gettinger +2
Teissala +1
Diffley +3
Erkamps +1
Archambault +1
Collins +1
IBN +1
Steele +1
Cormier +1
Aarnio +1
All the others were 0.
It seems Diffley has continued where he left off last season, quietly going about his game efficiently.
Gettinger and Balmas both better than I expected.
Points totals were:
Teissala 1+1
Collins 1+0
Steele 0+1
Tait 0+1
Roe 1+0
Balmas 0+2
Gettinger 1+1
I'm a bit dubious about the Teissala and Tait assists, because they're not shown as being on the ice when the goals were scored.
