We don’t deserve to be behind today. It’s been a good game, just frustrating nothing seems to be going our way.
It may seem boring because Belfast seem able to stifle all our efforts. They battle hard and are strong on the puck.

Not sure if that was more disheartening or frustrating to watch.
I think the guys gave up as just nothing could get through, a block here a deflection there.. The only thing that opens something like that up, is a few guys willing to go bulldozing, but where was the physicality?? Maybe would’ve been worth putting Tansey up front.
I didn’t see the first game, but we desperately need a different approach against teams where they turn to the shut-down tactics. We HAVE to start playing the body in these situations, pretty passing and trying to play the puck through just isn’t going to work in these scenarios.
Hats off to Belfast I think we all have to begrudgingly say - they seem to be deserved league winners.

1 goal in 6 periods of hockey doesn't look good at all.
Keefe really does have Fox's number. He knows exactly how we set up and how to nullify our style of play. Unless Fox changes how we play, it will be more of the same if we play them at the playoffs.
I don't think our constant chopping and changing of lines helps either.
The only good thing to come out of this weekend was our improved form at face-offs, but that's me clutching at straws.
I've no idea where we go from here, but that was one humiliating weekend.
