And it's stuff like this as to why I'm a huge fan of Fox. Run through brick walls for a guy like that
Agreed, Says what he means and means what he says, the standards will be kept even if it causes short term pain to the club. Pu is lucky Fox didn't strap his skates and pads on, skate out in practice and proceed to hammer him. Regardless of results he is someone who has earned respect for the way he acts.
No messing about. Credit to both Fox and the club for acting swiftly and professionally. Top marks
Just for fun…….Out of interest, would we have signed Mosienko under Fox’s leadership? I don’t think we would, Fox’s professional values are too high to risk damaging the club or his reputation.

Absolutely. I do hope when the time comes for him to move on from the Head Coach role, he stays with the club in a GM/Head of Hockey Ops type role. As someone said earlier, he's had to deal with multiple tragic/difficult incidents that the club has gone through, and every time he's stood tall and shown compassion and leadership.
I'm sure we've all questioned some of Fox's decisions, but in terms of professionalism and leading the club during some very difficult events he gets an A+.
Regarding Pu, I was just looking at his numbers and they weren't great. 4 + 7 from 18 games is a poor return from what was supposed to be one of our premium players. He was also joint bottom of our imports for +/-.
For me he was a poor recruit, but hopefully if Watling is anything like he was before it should be a decent upgrade.
As I mentioned on another thread, I wouldn't mind seeing Watling between Juusola and Tait.
