So Marc LeFebvre was either blathering about something inconsequential or being totally unprofessional by referring to this. Only he knows which but he needs to give his head a wobble.
It seems Cliff Pu has a big problem.
I think Lefebvre was talking metaphorical Poo rather than about Pu.
Im glad the guy is out of our club and I hope the punishment is fitting.
Well of course I could be wrong but he talked about an incident in the 1st period and it being investigated. The highlights package took a long time looking at the incident between Pu and Bean, so this led me to think he was referring to that as the incident.
As others said I think the clubs hands will be tied legally in terms of commenting further. Proud of the club for taking immediate and decisive action, and I really hope all involved can get the help they need.
Perhaps no bad thing for the guys psychologically that they have an away weekend.
Really feel for Fox right now as he’s been landed with a complete bombshell out of the blue. Following the successive Alex Graham and Adam Johnson/Matt Petgrave tragedies it’s been a lot to carry, he handles it really well but it’s a lot.
Can't say they never pass up the chance to print another bad news story about the Steelers, the Star has moved the report on Pu from the crime section ( and behind a paywall ) to the Steelers section ensuring anyone who looks there gets a completely skewed impression of the club, no game reports, just death and crime. If you are not going to cover the actual sport then delete the entire section and at least be honest about it, you got booted from the Arena because of bad decisions made by reporters and editorial staff and now you snipe away like a petulant child. Perhaps the best thing would be if you closed down the publication completely, you add nothing of value to the community and have destroyed a historic news outlet.
I have totally given up with the Star. Paywalls everywhere ( the standard of reporting in my opinion is not worth paying for) , every readable article is spread between countless adverts and there are more pop ups than in a greeting cards shop.

Adblock is your friend , even the free version stops ads and popups
And it's stuff like this as to why I'm a huge fan of Fox. Run through brick walls for a guy like that
Agreed, Says what he means and means what he says, the standards will be kept even if it causes short term pain to the club. Pu is lucky Fox didn't strap his skates and pads on, skate out in practice and proceed to hammer him. Regardless of results he is someone who has earned respect for the way he acts.
