even the supporters are behaving like idiots. Just as we score we lose the momentum because some buffoon threw paper all over the ice. Well done!

We should have shut up shop at 2 - 1 and taken that back to Sheffield.

Instead we keep throwing bodies forward and could easily have been 4 - 1 down.

I think we're done now. We just can't beat teams who get bodies in defence.

Glasgow will play deep and we won't have a clue how to get through them.

Fair play to Greenfield, Saucerman and Tremblay, I thought they were all good tonight.

Regards

The whole D seemed to be off their game tonight. Greenfield's puck and rebound control looked poor, by his standards. All the D pairings were making mistakes, and leaving us wide open. They weren't as bad as the Clan's when we battered them the other week, but not far off.
The number of breakaways we gave up was crazy. D men going walkabout, not just when we were chasing the game, we did it at 1-0 down. We shouldn't have been chasing it, we should've shut up shop and played a road game when we got one back. For the forwards. To me we've missed Simpson so much, not just at the dot, but also his presence, his stick range, breaking up plays & back checking. I like Whistle, but he's not a 1st line forward.
Golod has been a big loss as well. I know if he was still here it would make the squad selection harder, but he'd be in there every game, and rest / rota others.
We'd be a different team with Vally, Simpson up front & Tansey back on D.
I want to be wrong, but I'm not overly confident about Sunday. I think they'll shut up shop & we'll try and work the perfect goal. Remember recently how many shots on net, shots from the blue line have got us out of a mess? We need that luck again & a full 60min 100% commitment to get through. We've seen some fantastic performances, Sunday needs to be another.
