CHL Next Round.. we play ??

We all know how brilliant Kirk can be if he’s given time and space.
But you know what? Let Tansey lay a couple of strong fair hits and you’ll find Kirk will go missing.
One of the reasons for me he no longer plays in North America’s top leagues is that he’s not able to compete physically unfortunately.
Don’t get me wrong I would love Kirk to return and play for the Steelers one day, but he can easily be made ineffective if you turn up the physical play against him.
Wonder if we’ll have to move fixtures around to get the arena ice? I guess Berlin will have the first pick whether or not they want home advantage?

I imagine they will want the second leg at home being the higher seed... So it looks like 13th November at the Sheffield Arena and 19th or 20th at the Uber Arena for a educated guess.

Considering our CHL form and the teams we have already met, we must surely have a chance against Berlin. After that, looking at the draw it will almost certainly be Zurich again. That might be more formidable.

Berlin have been playing their CHL games at Wellblechpalast, (a 4,700 capacity rink). I am waiting to see where our game is going to be hosted at.

The SSSC are selling our allocation and it seems all the seating is gone. I wandered over to their desk in the 1st interval and they had standing tickets.
Simms later announced that we had an allocation of 50 seats and something like 300 standing places.
