Belfast aren’t firing on all cylinders. A good time to play them? I predict a close game.
Do we have a new signing to debut?
3-2 Steelers.
GAME THREAD: Steelers v Belfast Giants: LEAGUE: 18th November
Moderator: Mods
I think it's time to sack the Mods.....Friday evening for the weekend game thread.
Seriously though, this is a big game and we need to be ready from the off. Belfast are hurting right now and jobs are under threat, I suspect Keefe will have them very wound up for this.
Against Cardiff we were sluggish from the off and they made us pay. It's no good turning it on in the 3rd if we're trailing by two or three.
Belfast have a good record against us, often off the back of a strong Besko performance. This season Besko is less than 90% and clearly struggling, so we need to take advantage.
This is a real opportunity to put some daylight between ourselves and Belfast......I think we'll need it, because they will come good at some stage under Keefe.

Hopefully players are able to get focused for this game, not easy with off ice issues. But i feel we can take this game if all are on form at the same time. looking forward to it. interesting watching keefe on their bench especially when things are not going his way
I'm expecting Belfast to come at us hard from the off. We have to be ready and not lulled into any false sense of security because of recent performances. We have a good opportunity here, let's rise to the challenge
Belfast are going to get humped tonight. And tomorrow night...Half of the team Belfast team have either left, are suspended, or are injured. Half of what is left doesn't give a rat's ass about playing, it's just a wage. We have an ex-football player, for god's sake, on the bench. If Sheffield doesn't run riot tonight, I will be dumbfounded.
I hope you're both in top form soon again chaps, this forum wouldn't be the same without your input.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
