We had the 1st 5mins of the 2nd period & then reverted back to scrappy & disjointed.
I know it's early in the season, but Nicholls hasn't done anything to prove he's got many goals or ass3in him.
Watling, Simpson & Balmas look good, Diffley, Saucerman solid as hoped for.

Very poor so far, we're being out coached by a limited Coventry team who all know their roles.
I guess it's to be expected if we're constantly tinkering with lines.
We need a really solid 3rd.

After doing a lot of things right very disappointingly we reverted to headless chicken, slow, passive hockey. Its only the late game poor discipline of Blaze and magic of Watling that got us the win.
It's very concerning. Sort out a top line of Balmas Watling and another then work from there. On current form would drop Nicholls to fourth line.

Coventry players were all on the same page with a game plan, we keep swapping lines with no chance of players building any chemistry.
I think Fox has recruited a very good squad, the issue might be Fox the tactician rather than Fox the recruiter.
It's a win at the end of the day and that's a positive, but we need to be much better.
