This guy is still showing as unknown it’s definitely our type of signing in the mould of Hodgman and Kristo.

https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/1 ... on-ferraro

He’s also a right handed shot which is what we will have been looking at to balance the two lefties in Vally and Watling
A couple of years ago his numbers would have suggested a 25 goal scorer, but last year they dropped away quite badly.

He does look to be very much in the mould of Kristo and Hodgman. Certainly a decent player, but at this stage of his career no longer an impact player, which is what I'd like to see from a 1st line forward.

Yep it’s a much of the same signing for me Doom and certainly not a top line winger that’s gonna bag us 25 goals plus. I’m really hoping it isn’t this guy but past experience tells me that this is our type of signing to appease the masses with a wow DEL moment, instead of signing a lower league proven 20 goal plus player. Really hope I’m wrong.

Two new signing announcements tomorrow at 6am, I’m going to assume that it will be the two netminders as a double announcement

Think we're expecting to see this being Dan Crowe, who's signed with the Steeldogs. Moved over to play his junior hockey in America and had a good showing down at MK for 12 or so games last season. 8-1 record with a .91SV% at 19.

Why are we wanting 3 netties? Surely they are just going to be gate openers and bench warmers.
I'm sure an import slot would have been better spent on a out player.
Mr Fox is always reluctant to give Matt Greenfield a rest in my opinion

Brett welscyka just been signed to unknown I personally don’t think he’d be a bad signing proven 25 goal scorer in our league, he was the best player on a bad team last season. But to me it would confirm we have missed out on a higher calibre player, unless the fascinating career remark by Bob was referencing his stint at Nottingham?

We’ve not wasted an import slot. Greenfield will be backed up by the Brit Nettie. When they want to rest him Morrone will be backed up by the Brit Nettie, so we can have the 14 outfield imports…

It tends to be fairly common practice in our league.

You need a back up on the bench and of it's not a Brit you have to drop one of your import out skaters.

I don't think Fox would want Greenfield playing all the games, because he look tired at the back end of last season. Laing isn't good enough yet to step in on a regular basis, hence why we've brought in Morrone.

Just looking through Welyska and Delucas stats they are almost like for like. Brett was awarded the exact same accolades at university level the year before Anthony. Im just wondering if Fox is trying to replicate the success he had his first season with Vally Conns, and Deluca it would make sense.
