Sorry! but I think we will be turned over big time!! We have clearly lost the plot lately and unless the Pants have an off night and think they have won it (which has happened on numerous occasion) then its 5 defeats in a row!! but I have been wrong many times before!!

I saw a tweet that they are going to be wearing their white continental cup jerseys, so let's hope that they've told our boys to bring their orange jerseys down, or it could be a repeat of the Guildford fiasco!

I spoke to Fox earlier and he said it’s going to be tough now. He seemed a little down on it, but I did tell him it’s a million miles better than last season. We just need to keep improving. We will have blips along the way. I think we will nick something in Notts even though they’re in a rich vain of form. COYS.

Fox is as probably just as disappointed as we all are, however like you have already mentioned we have enjoyed this season which has made a refreshing change.

Hell must have frozen over.

Bet you normal service resumes for their next home game.
It must be a sell out and the Panthers organisation have decided to take a leap of faith in that new fangled webcast thing.

Seriously their supporter can smell the blood in the water so will want to be witness to the onslaught.

Hopefully we can get something from this eone but I've a feeling it could be a long night. As for Fox feeling down I don't know why. This team and the performances overall this season have been far and away better than the dross of the Thompson era. Good heavens coach you would have to be blind to see otherwise.
I believe its a building season, I didnt expect to win anything let alone do as well as we have, even if we finish mid table. I for one would take coach Fox side over anything Thompson could give us. This season has by and large seen a return to Steelers hockey

And to me thats a great sign that as a coach he is not prepared to except less than he expects and settle for mediocrity in the meantime, and not waxing lyrical of how good we have been, rather than facing the facts that he knows he can be better, I very much like that.

He does all that without once throwing anyone of the team under the bus... :ugeek:

Most teams have bad patches in a long season, I can remember a few years ago Cardiff had a late slump and we won the title by the narrowest of margins. The Panthers had their bad patch pre Christmas and in the past they have been well clear in the league only to be pulled back after a poor run. Remember a panthers lair fan writing ,” Who can stop the Panthers winning the league ? “ Famous last words.
It's sport and no one apart from possibly Jurgen Klopp knows why it happens.
Fox should not beat himself up, he signed some great characters and skilful entertaining players . I have enjoyed watching them this season. Something I couldn't say last season , even though we had the best coach , “ By a country mile “ !
