Daniel Ciampini: https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/7 ... l-ciampini
Ciampini is going to come in and be a guy who we expect to be a top player for us.

He was 2nd in League scoring in Austria in 20-21 and top 3 in Norway the year before that. Daniel plays a very skilled all around game, skates well, competes hard and can make his teammates around him better.

Last season Daniel went to the Czech Extraliga and had an early injury, when he got healthy his team was out of contention so he returned to ICEHL for remainder of year joining Bolzano. He’s coming to help us achieve our goals and is excited to get back to scoring and being that difference maker he’s been before.

Nice!!!!

A great signing for us, a high pedigree player who has consistently put up points, can play either wing, but I think he will be Neumann's RW to start.

This is our Vally replacement in terms of a high scoring winger, who also provides a 200 foot game, which I thought Vally did too to be fair. He spoke of his enjoyment of the PK as much as the PP so promising that he values both ends of the ice.

Certainly a 1st liner and hopefully puts up the numbers we all hope he can, definitely excited to see him play especially when on lines with other skilled guys, which we seem to have a good number of.

The reaction to Daniel Ciampini seems very mute... not one to get excited about? To say he is supposed to be our replacement for Vallerand..!

To be fair Jay, he does look an excellent signing, but not what I would call a marque signing as such for our league.

Fox could be playing a very clever hand with signing slightly lesser known players but with a few surprises. I can't remember getting excited about Kent Simpson or Warren Norris, but they turned out alright.

Whilst we will never know, I'm wondering if all team's budgets have taken a hit since the pandemic as I have to say none of our new signings have me particularly excited I'm afraid.

Let's hope we're in for lots of exciting surprises and Daniel is one of many!!

He looks like he could be one of the top scorers in the league if you discount last season. I think people just like to moan more on here.

Agree with that completely. Surprised not a lot of positive posts regarding this signing. Looking at his ECHL numbers he could quite easily be the top points scorer in the league this coming season. Just have to hope that last season was a blip but he didn't play all that much and spent a while injured I believe. Hopefully he is fully over the injury now.
