Re: It's time
In further defence of Fox, there has been so much disruption around the team that can not have helped. Everyone was positive in the praise of his signing of Seitz, we thought we were signing a goal machine, the reality was somewhat difference. The ‘poker’ game that Whistle played over the summer lef...

Re: GAME THREAD: Steelers v Giants: Sunday
Anyone from the .steelers office reading this, please can you have lots of announcements about moving out of your seats during play. It seems to be getting worse over the last month particularly around 205-6. As for tonight’s game…. Macadam to start and Steelers to win this one 3-1 ish. 😁 oh and hap...
Re: Cup final
Make it a 12:00pm face off on a Saturday or a Sunday, then most people who wanted to watch the stream could do so before heading out to see their own games? Unfortunately doesn't work either, as you have no idea what games to schedule/cancel in the summer's fixture meeting, with no idea which two t...
Re: Cup final
It always makes me chuckle that a premier trophy event final is made a mid-week game. Should always be on a weekend IMO. While I think most would agree with that, the problem shifting to a weekend is you can't then make it a "showpiece" match as the only game that day. The other clubs not involved ...

Re: GAME THREAD: Flyers v Steelers: Sun 8th March
They had a great win in Guildford on Saturday, then had a 10 hour journey home, which would probably get them back in Kirkcaldy around 8am? They had to run with three forward lines to our 4, no wonder they ran out of steam in the 2nd period. We did what we had to do, now on to the big weekend agains...
Re: Cup final
I wouldn’t necessarily class the Blaze as a middling team, they have a similar capacity to Cardiff, and have certainly had great success in the EIHL, just look at their banners. As for the final, the biggest controversy is the venue, I thought the highest ranked team had home advantage? Now it’s bei...

Re: Season Tickets 26/27 massive price increase
And this is where they fall down, they don't even attempt to explain why they needed to do this, particularly the charge for 2yr olds who don't even get a an actual seat. Then again the organisations relationship with it's supporters has always been sit down, shut up and pay, unless of course you a...

Re: Season Tickets 26/27 massive price increase
While it is a massive increase and I can understand peoples concerns, I don't think Tony will have done such a hike purely to make a 'quick buck,' as some have said across other social media sites. I'm sure everything has been costed out by the club and I bet it's caused a lot of heart searching and...

Re: GAME THREAD: Steelers v Flyers: Sun 1st Feb
Losing Fife costs the rest of the team owners money via less fixtures. Tony for instance would be 7,000 tickets fees down just last night. As for being uncompetitive, 3 weeks ago I watched them beat the pants off us in Fife. There are no teams good enough to take their place and none wish to do so,...
