Re: IIHF 2026 World Championship
Quite entitled to your opinion. But have you seen what they are up against? Teams that can call on players from the nhl at best, or play in a much higher league than the ours. The commentators on the iihf site kept making the point that if gb played to their systems, had a high compete level and did...

Re: How good was Ken Priestlay ?
as some-one who sits 'on the other side of the fence' with my hockey allegiance, the two players who I thought could turn a game in an instant against us were firstly Ivan Matulik who who scary in the 'Heineken' days, and then Priestlay.

Re: GAME THREAD: Nottingham Panthers v Sheffield Steelers, Saturday 27th January, 7.00 PM
Definitely goalie interference for the Panthers goal, despite what the biased Green and Bullard say on the commentary. Aslo what a stupid penalty is delay of the game, how does it delay the game when the clock stops the second it goes off the ice. Its not goalie interference if your dmen get in you...

Re: Helping to Heal: A suggestion
I guess from a player point of view, they wouldn't want to be asked the SAME question by loads of different people every time they stop for a selfie. Although we think we know the players, we aren't really friends and shouldn't be entitled to ask how they are feeling or what they saw. And yet heari...

Re: Liam Kirk and the NHL
I commented on a rival forum that I was thinking he's now got to prove himself capable of being a regular contributor for his team. We've seen what he can do for GB, and he did well in short stints at Tucson, Atlanta and Jukerit. But it's a fresh start in a new league where there will be expectation...

Re: Liam Kirk and the NHL
One thing in his favour is that the Hockey operations staff (Head coach, A/C, GM, DHO) is unchanged since they signed him, so it's not like he has to prove himself to people that don't know him. Although, in a sense he does have a lot to prove as he's had a year away.
