Somebody smarter than me is going to have to explain why that is a goal... with net of its pegs! Jayboy If a defending player dislodges the net regardless of it being accidental or deliberate, the referee can award a goal if an attacking player had a clear scoring opportunity and the puck would hav...

By far our worst showing of the season to date. Wouldn't know our team played 11 games together prior, more looked like this was the first time they'd met on the ice! Made things far too easy for a team that didn't need any help, more worryingly was our lack of reaction or fight after that 0-3 1st p...

Ideally, I think two clubs should chip in for a Euro team (or teams) to get them to play against one another. Then you're splitting all the costs to get them here, and more likely to get in more people through the door. As already mentioned, playing teams you play 1000x per season already, is very s...

Thanks DSL, I thought there was something in place, but wasn't sure how it worked. I guess the issues relating to this are: 1. Football clubs like Sheff Utd spend a lot of money on their academies, so you can understand why there needs to be a compensation mechanism. In ice hockey it's not really t...

2. He might develop further and become an import quality netminder. Who is to say when he gets to that level he won't move to Belfast or abroad, meaning the cost we've put in is effectively in vain? Doom How do you think other EIHL teams feel, when an arena team sweeps up a player effectively devel...

Can we have a @DiscoRay perspective on Lucas Brine.. its always good to get an opinion first hand from someone who has seen him play... After asking around at end of last season when the story broke of his issues with Glasgow.. a didnt hear a bad word about him...? Jayboy He'll be a solid netty who...

I was part of that 17245 record crowd. It was a marvellous experience. I really hope this works. It would be fantastic for the league. I don’t know how often the AO Arena is booked for events now. Will Storm be able to play there at weekends? Until they can actually fill the AO, which may be some y...

Gutted.... now what happens... My prediction is Fox surviving the cut based on a semi final, A final and 4th being just about acceptable to Tony Smith and Fox having a year left on his contract... My preference is, no more Vanilla hockey and we look to get in a new coaching staff that have a differ...

You'd like to think the neutrals would get behind the tournament underdogs, Glasgow. It's worth highlighting just how much of an underdog they are; they finished 8th in the league and hence had to turn over the league winners to get there. When was the last time the 8th placed team has made it to t...
